Based on what we've heard of him so far, it would either take a liar or someone with absolutely no useful fishkeeping experience to say otherwise.

Oh and don't worry, as I've already said a few times before, I highly doubt you even care enough to listen anyway, otherwise that eel would be enjoying a 125+ gallon brackish setup in the hands of a responsible fish keeper right now. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt for a while, but that has long expired by now.

call my dad stupid and an idiot is going to make me listen to you

Fine, don't listen to me. Your fish will die, your father will continue being an idiot and I will move on with my life.

i didn't need you telling me that i suck for 2 months. you should have moved on with your pathetic life but since you have nothing better to do you decided to kept on telling a me that i was a terrible person. i acknowledge that their was something wrong and tried to fix it and couldn't so you continued to tell me that i suck at fish keeping. then you call my dad stupid( witch you would never say to his face in real life)because you think that you are hard in your little fish world. so go back to your boring lives because i don't need YOUR help.

witch you would never say to his face in real life

Firstly it is which*

And yes. I would. Numerous times.
Saying you couldn't change the situation is bollocks. A LFS would take all of your fish and then they would have a chance at finding a good home, instead of a miserable one in your tank.

I assume you meant year. And it would still be better than in your tank. And tell your father I said he is an idiot. Hell you can call me and I'll tell him. Honesty is the best policy after all.

so the eel would be better in a 20gl for life then a 55gl and you can talk trash all you want on the internet but i think everyone know the 30 year old guy with a yoda pic is a duck

You are starting to show your age. ;)

You are right about one thing, you did attempt to fix your tank for a while, and it is a lot better now than it was when you started this thread, but then you backed out at the last minute and decided to hold on to the eel, despite the fact that you have been told by many different people that you shouldn't. If you were going to decide to keep the eel anyway, you may as well have just stayed in your own little world of selfishness and immaturity and not even bothered to get rid of the other fish.

A duck? lol

I'm 17. Not 30. And although the tank would be smaller the amount of filtration at a LFS cannot be recreated at home. ( not by you anyway) If it cannot be in a brackish setup at least it can be in pristine water.

i agree that he should get rid of the eel

but all that's going to happen if he gives it to the lfs is that the eel is going to go to the lfs in freshwater and be sold in freshwater to someone with freshwater

and this eel doesnt need a damn 125 gallon, id say 55 is fine for a good chunk of its life, a 75 will do long term
