Finally--ive been saying i have a 180 that ive been setting up, now heres the proof! :D we had it custom made (acrylic) and so far i have moved over almost all of the stock we have (im adding a few fish at a time to avoid any spikes) and im getting ready to order some more from Kentucky...

i know 180 isnt all that big to you all... but its the biggest of my 3 tanks and im pretty excited.

this one has been set up and running for almost 2 weeks.. enjoy!;)

Nice photos and I do not know what the fish is in pic 2...Close up? :)
 
also, can someone PLEASE tell me what fish #2 is? it has a black horizontal bar, and its scales are a rainbow of red and yellow--i have searched malawi cichlid genus and species pics on endless sites and cannot find anything like him...

its the fish in pic 2, 10 and 12 (i tried to take a few good pics of him in hopes that someone can help me!) thanks everyone... mel

my digital camera is a p.o.s and i cannot get a big pic of him without him looking like a blob.. someone stated that he might be a haplochromis labriden but i cant find any pics of one that looks like him/her. its really a beautiful fish.. just hope someone can help tell me just what it is...

Very nice, I like the rock setup and the fish look great. Is that a sand substrate your using?
 
thanks everyone! yeah its pool filter sand--my hubby picked it up and i LOVE it.. this is the first time i used sand in a tank.. i think i will eventually get a little more rock in it too...
