nice set up, looks good. one suggestion though, drop a few plants in there, da'll make the colors of your fishes come out even more
lol i forgot about the kitchen pic--that was our first project in the house, we completely gutted the kitchen and i love it.. i think ill get a few more rocks and add a few plants just for color.. thanks for the compliments everyone! i just ordered another 18 babies.. ill grow them out in a 90 gallon until i feel they are alright to go in the 180.. ill post some pics of the babies here in a few days too!
I feel that plants take away the natural feeling to an african tank. If you do opt for plants, they're either plastic, or mature java fern and anubias tied to rocks.
Navygirl....try searching pics of the Haps from lake Victoria rather than Malawi for yout unknown fish.....definitely looks like a Vic Hap......

yeah i think weve decided on the no plant look-i have green algae already growing and its fun to watch the fish eat it off the rocks.. i will search haps from victoria.. thanks guys and gals!
