The second one, your boy already have so much pearls on it, some red into the gen pool would be nice. All very nice looking fish btw.
thanks. the non pearly female is 1.5 inches bigger than the male and very mean. i need to wait until he grows some more so she doesn't kill him.
he was in with the pearly female, they are siblings, but, she was kicking his butt and had him totally stressed. he is just starting to get some color back and i don't feed gsumo or chingmix yet. i want to try gsumo red to see if that helps him color up faster.
right now he is paired with my bp. i think he is too small to breed 3" so it will be a while.

looks like they don't think he is too small. i don't know if he is fertile yet he is 3+inches. at least the bp likes him
it has been 48 hours and there only about one quarter of the eggs look fertilized. they have black spots inside them. the rest look exactly the same as the first day, or they have turned white. they should be hatching tomorrow or friday.
it looks like they ate the eggs. i didn't have much time to look this morning, but the eggs were all gone.
