Yep, i sure did. Took 20 yrs to build up the courage LOL. I used regular flat black latex paint and a rollar with a extention. I had a tarp to use for the wall and forgot to hang it, i highly suggest you dont forget like i did LOL I still have paint on the wall behind and on one corner of the light switch LOL. It was easy, took 3 coats (one hour dry time between coats). Place a fan to blow on the paint when drying. I bought 4 quarts of paint and have 2 left over for future touch ups as needed. I did the 7 foot and 6 foot tanks in one afternoon. started at noon and was finished by 5 pm. I even did it in place with fish in. (I just slid the filters to the front of the tank. Be careful when placing filters on the back when your done cause the paint is still soft and its easy to gouge a small spot on the back LOL. I understand its not hard to remove if you ever wanted to, just takes a razorblade, but i really like it and dont plan on ever taking it off.
