if you could somehow harness the magnetic pull of the sun i think you may be able to flux that around the copper in the wiring.. effectively making the powerhead levitate in place....

Thats a great diy on the magnet thing. Anyone ever tried it? I think we might on an old ph we have just to see. It would be excellent if it realy works well!
