figured I would put pics up of my tank. Tell me what is right and what is wrong. I do seem to be getting this growth on the tank walls that looks like little hairs along with some green algae that seems to be hard to scrub away. What is it and why?

It comes from phosphates(from food and water) and other nutrients(food and water). Pretty much inevitable with your setup. It just won't go out of control if you have a maintenance schedule and a good clean up crew.
