What did they taste like.
 
When my chinese perch croaked 2 days after getting in a fish market, i was tempted to cook
it.. but gutting out a fish takes too much time so i just wrapped it in plastic and disposed of it.
 
I'm curiouse how you killed them.

Did you wack them over the head or something??

I hate eating whole fish. Eating around the bones is such a PIA.
 
I know how to use chopsticks.

Not sure i want to hear how you use them to kill a fish though. Yuck. :yuck:
 
Just kidding everybody. They werent mine. We bought them at a local Chinese market, flash frozen. I just wanted to yank your chains a bit.

They were actually really tasty, pretty firm, the skin didnt taste bad. Very very bony though. The larger bones werent a problem, but there were scads of tiny ones.

I have in the past considered eating a pacu that jumped out and also an oscar that died, but too long since MIA on the first one, and too much personality on the second, so a no go. At least now I can say I have eaten an aquarium fish (my life's ambition). :grinno:
