How do you know it's wild caught? I had one and they are kind of aggressive at a larger size. Mine was 24" when he died during a heater failure while in a holding tank while repairing his pond. It was the one hybrid I had that I was skittish about hand feeding, but he would hand feed. Just struck my hand and the food lightning quick
 
sweet...does look like mine I got at the lfs almost 2 months ago. I'm in the process of rearranging fish ornaments and such. As soon as I"m done, will put up new pics for comparision

btw, I guess as long as he's fed, he hasn't bothered anyone, altho plenty of opportunity. Amazing growth rate. Never before seen a fish grow so dang fast on krill and shrimp
 
I was under the impression all the hybrid catfish were hormone induced, farm bred.
 
Going to be a beautiful fish when he gets bigger! :)
