Don't have any but we got 1 to help clean tank we did'nt know what it was got it from my uncles old tank which he did'nt know what it was anyway it killed most of my mums goldfish <_<.
So that sucked we called the LFS we know them and he said bring it over checked him up he was good nothing wrong with him then he chucked him in a tank for of cichlids he did'nt survive long
an old photo but a good one, is about 6" now, the algae scraper is 4" long.
occasioaly eats algae, but normally eats uneaten food. fits in well with mbuna, and has never sucked on one of the other fishes except for once, in a territorial dispute. after by bristlenose pleco died algae has gotten pretty bad. it isn't agressive, just territorial. one of my favourite fish, has quite the character.
edit: a pet shop in my area has some pretty big CAE for sale for about $30. they are in the same tank as silver dollars and angelfish, which are probably the worst fish to keep them with.
Ive had one eatin all the algae in my 5g...he's housed w/ my gf's fancy tail goldfish and about 6-7 feeder guppies....he's only aggressive w/ the algae...the goldfish punks him.
i have them in all 3 tanks
as they get bigger they get aggressive and stop eating algae
they will bully smaller fish and latch themselves onto bigger fish and eat their slime coating.
You can check out my green CAE if you click on my personal gallery page. Mine died at around 8" after escaping the tank - found it stuck between the glass cover and tank lid. They are not particularly mean compared to other fish that i own / owned. They can be terortorial and are notorious for harasing catfish as they get a taste for the slimecoat.
