I go the cheapest route and somehow all my money allways goes into my fish anyways! lol. Post pics of your progress on that tub! What are the dimensions on it?

That'll last you for a while! When it gets close to 2ft. start planning the next bigger pond! You could just buy up the spare parts over time after you set up that tub, and it shouldn't hurt you in your wallet that much! that's kinda what I did. started out just the pond with a house filter hooked to a pump with the flow reversed, then I upgraded added canister filters, rocks, heating, landscaping bricks, fake plants inside, and finally tropical plants around it! You are gonna have an awesome catfish setup my friend! You could even try to put a viewing port in if you want your side view still! I am not gonna try with my pond, besides I will be upgrading again within the next few years!

its a rtc x tsn i can tell you have to see it in person to see it and the water is kind of cloudy looks on the fourum planiceps is in there are a bunch of pics there
Don't know how many gals that is! there is a eqaution for it somewhere. Sounds like about 100 to me though. My tsn x rtc looks pregnant! he ate over a half pound of shrimp today! I am kinda curious as to how much your's has grown since you got it! I didn't get mine until he was allready almost 2 ft. I know he is growing just under 1" per month right now, but I wanted to know if they are comparable to rtc or tsn when little. I have raised both to over 2ft. and they grew around 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" per month. Just curious.
