Hmmm it really does look like two tanks in one. You have a little theme going on on one side and plants on the other its like artifical vs natural. I like it but if it were mine id make a few changes. For starters I'm really digging the right side with the left id ditch the statues I like the driftwood but you can tell its fake id ditch that and try to find a piece that looks just like it but real. Maybe a couple more plants on the left side but not many

I absolutely agree for now the statues are more function I just wanna make sure there are enough hiding spots (their all hollow) for my fish to have and no one fight you can't really tell but on the right side that's a cave right there my elephant nose dominates that.

As for the fake stump, I also agree but I've very anal about how my tank looks so I bought that fake one until I stumble upon that PERFECT real one.

Do you boil the real tree stuff to get the, I believe it's called tannis?, out of it or do you let that stuff get in the water? I hear it turns your tank an icky color..
