damn i'd love to see action like that, all we get up here is either Perch, walleye or pike. on the river you get alot of suckers. oh how i would love to have some of those fish in my aquarium

I've been thinking about it ; ) I have access to them all. 2 hour ride home. Aerated bucket, no problem.

Native fish in Michigan bite on just about anything... in a pond by my grandpas house i can bare hook it at he beginning of the summer!!

lol up here you gotta use bait or you will most likely get skunked.. the big difference is the amount of panfish. Yellow perch bites are fun thats all the good action you get (unless your targeting pike etc..) i find it very dull, unlike some states where you can catch crappie bluegil pumpkinseeds..etc.. most lakes up here with a small hook all you will catch is yellow perch

Went out again this morning. Full of bass, pumpkinseeds and warmouths. Saw some gar but no takers. I caught probably 12-15 fish.

Haha thanks! Hooked another one tonight! He got off in 2-3 seconds but I definitely saw him. Wasn't as big though.

Awesome bowfin...really wish you would have gotten a picture of that hybrid sunfish...centrarchids will hybridize like crazy.
