Going from monster to baby fish :D Our local forum is running a grow out contest, I have been snapping shots of this thing weekly, I was pretty happy with tonights shots, so, I thought I would share.

I think that they are Red Empress, anyone out there breed them? Can you tell me if my bet on the id of the fry is right?
 
nemesis, that is cool how the moon is over the city and everything! Great capture, but at that ISO/shutter speed you need a tripod as you can see how its oof (out of focus).

bigpic, great pics! I have no idea about the ID though!
 
^ Wow... that's an amazing shot. I can't wait to get an slr, so I can practice, and maybe someday get a shot like that.
 
I've seriously gotta have someone teach me how to make the black background and the subject pop out!! LoL!!

Peanut, It's all about lighting. . . your shot has some good detail, it really is too bad about the scratched glass. I will throw up some Creni shots, I gotta make it a good one ;)
 
hahaha - I was just refering to the "barbels" looking like a forked tail coming out of the mouth, I hadn't noticed the cricket's head to be honest :D
