A LFS has a breeding pair of what i assumed where rd's but the male looks like your lucy?????? I thought the bulls had a bump on their heads, this is not an educated guess.
What size tank would you need for a breeding pair and what measures do you take once they have bred???????
Lucy is about 10" - 11" long. I have never bred her, she has always been solo but has laid plenty of eggs in the seven years I have had her. I do have a female rd and a male amarillo breeding in my 300 gallon tank. Basically those two and their fry have 150 gallons of it and all of the rest of the fish get to share the remaining 150 gallons. If I were going to breed them in a smaller tank personally I would want at least a six foot tank that way if you need to separate them you can.
Some females to get humps, others don't. The males kok is generally much larger though. On a side note, I can barely say that without getting a little smile on my face. Sometimes my immaturity really shows.
