very good lookin fish what ya been feedin it.

Cichlid pellets lol. I think the main key is clean water and warm temperature. I keep my temps around 82-84 degrees. I noticed it's hump went down alot and it wasn't so active when the temp was 75 degrees.

Nice fish! My sister's Texas does the same thing whenever I go into her room. He'll get up against the glass and flare his gills at me while I puff out my cheeks.

I don't "kiss" the fish. I do a display of aggression that would occur if he came across another cichlid male and needed to establish dominance.
