I got him at about 6-7" and i have had him 2-1/2 years. Feeding only Nightcrawlers. That is all he would eat for 2 years. Now he will eat mussels too.

Main diet Big nightcrawlers. 3-4 a day.

Geez, I guess thats the way to go though. Crazy kewl!! I have some peacocks at about 5"...but they aren't really big eaters. All ghost shrimp are gone though!! LoL!! Your fire eel is very inspirational!
