i like the little circle pattern ur guy has. mine has long red stripes.

ur guy wont even eat bloodworms? my guy is on a diet of earthworms and blood worms. but he will basically eat any of the frozen cube style foods...except brine shrimp. he hates those lol
 
What else can I get my eel to eat besides black worms. I don't want diseased tubifex in my tank. I want to find California black worms. Will trout worms work. They are six inches.
 
We didn't know they liked to burrow in sand. We have big rocks in our grave. They made homes though. One lives in the sponge filter. The other one has found some strange cavernous hole in the driftwood and pokes out of it like a worm in an apple. Should I still get different gravel. They seem happy.
 
Awesome looking eel. I love the stocking of the tank. Something I was thinking bout doin.

i dont think u need new gravel as long as u give them some dark small place they feel secure in. i have rocks in my tank now that r too large/heavy for my buy to burrow in.
