I cannot wait to find out the sexes...quess i have quite a wait for that...

Hi, your Fontosa looks wonderful but be careful! I have a meduim size Fontosa for a year now and lately introduced two more small ones in a four foot tank. After one night ,one of the small one dissapeared presumed eaten by the meduim size one. The size of the small one is about one and a half inches.

But the other one is growing fast. I put it in a 2ft tank together with other small cichlid and feed them with red worns and beef heart.

Thank you for the warning..when i first set up the 125 gal for the Frontosa i was worried that this might happen too..since 2 were very small compared to the others..so i put them in the tank first and let them establish themselves then after a month i added the others.. it seems to be working because it has been over 6 months..
