Hi.. the number two pic is what i would call a indian knifefish.. im norwegian.. and we might have dufferent names.. the sc. name is: Chitala chitala..
i had one about 40 cm long.. its a very shy fish that likes to hide amongst roots etc.. as most knife fish.. if u give him small fish he will eat them off course but i have never seen him aggressive against cichlids etc..
one of ur pics is of a Apteronotus albifrons.. a black ghost..
that is my all time favourite fish.. they got sonar like the dolphins in the white part of their tail.. and cant almost see at all.. really nice fish.. love shrimps, crabstics etc and will eat it instead of live fish at night if kept well fed.. i love this fish.. BUT REMEMBER TO ONLY KEEP ONE .. AND NOT WITH ANY OTHER FISH WITH SONAR.. LIKE ELEPHANTFISH..

The only one i still need info on is the Tigre knife fish{if it is one} that one because it is rare i am having a hard time getting info about..thanks
