Cant wait for mine to color up! What is the growth rate that I can expect with them?
Thanks. Yours will be nice being so colorful already. They are usually shy and hide a lot, but mine haven't been that bad. They can be very aggressive especially when breeding. They are very sensitive to stress and can get HITH easily like oscars. A good varied diet and good water params will reduce chances of this happening. Make sure TA k mates aren't too tough on them.

Mine is anything but shy.. for such a small fish he really is a feisty guy
I have some sort of Texas hybrid with him and another male salv.. In a 5' long
The salv's seem to like each other..no chasing.. until they try go into each others caves, i have many caves
At the moment feeding bloodworms, tetra prima and tetra color crisps(has some veggies in), anything else I should add?
