I have a 150 gallon stock tank elevated on cinderblocks/play wood that is drilled and feeds over into a 150 gallon tank on the bottom. The bottom Tank had an internal Pond filter that sucks through and feeds up into the 300 gallon up top via a hose. The top tank has 2 strong power heads to keep water flow going pretty well... I also heat the top with a 300Wat heater. It does get over worked but I get roughly 3 years out of the heater regardless of strain.

The tank to the right is also a 300gallon rubber made stock tank. It has a 2,500 GPH sump Pump / Pre filter that feeds to an outside pond filter box.

Id like to also note I bought all of my pond supplies when petsmart put everything on sale so I got stuff for 30-40% off. To filter the 300 gallon to the left I only spent 400 bucks for the sump / filter.

I can definantly take more pics of the filtration so you have a better idea
