Tank and fish look great.
My personal eperience with gravel and sand was that the sand required far less cleaning than the gravel. This prompted me to get rid of the gravel for sand and coral chip. I find that all my fish sift the sand after being fed.
It is quite a job doing the change but I think it is eventually worth the effort.
Is that a greshakei or a zebra red top?

Nice tank, how does the Parrot do in there, does he get beat up or can he hold his own?

I have never seen any problems with the Parrot, no one messes with him at all

now that you mention it, it does look more like a Metriaclima Greshakei with its ice-blue body. what do you think?

nice tank and mix...how big is your loach?

he's about 4.5" i got two more in there that are about 2" n they follow the big guy everywhere
