I have had this mix for quite sometime. Been in the hobby for many years. Yes, they are in a 55 gallon. The largest fish can get upto 8 or so inches excluding the pleco and loaches. Would like to upgrade, but I do not have the space. All of the fish are very peaceful with one another. Plenty of hiding places and water changes.

The Purple spotted gudgeon are on a diet of sinking cichlid pellets, sinking shrimp sticks, dried shrimp, flakes, and black worms.
I also have a empty 20 gallon long. Just incase, I decide to breed.
Thanks, it is kind of a wierd mix of fish. But I have done my reserch on every fish I get.
Ask away............................................

so your not worried about stunting?

Stunting is a concern. Got all of these guys when they were little. I have sold a number of my fish. When I feel they need a bigger tank, I will sale them. Would love to get a larger tank. Maybe in the near future.
Manlyfish, thanks for your concern.

The fish that I have sold since I setup this tank are as follows:
2x 14" Ornate Bichirs
2x 13"-15" Endli Bichirs
2x 9" Senegal bichirs
3x 8" Sun Spot Catfish
4x 8" Saxtillis Pikes
3x 10" Venezuela Pikes
3x 7" Green Severums
1x 9" 4-line Pictus

I purchase them, when they were all very small. I sold them when they hit a certain size, which I felt a 55 gallon wouldn't be sufficient. Somewhat a revolving door. I enjoy fish keeping, and when I come across a fish that catches my eye, I do the research and purchase it " if everything can be met." It's hard to part with them, but my may concern is about the fishes health.
