Great looking zebras. Go with natural or black gravel and dark background. Also as was said get some driftwood and loose that holy rock.. Your zebras are too expensive to not use wood as they would be on in the wild.

Nice looking zebras. I must agree with the changing of the decor and background suggestions. The bright colors need to be removed. They are to intense and hard on the eyes. Possibly use some black sand as was suggested earlier, remove the holy rock and add some drift wood.

first sorry about answering your comments a bit late as i live on the flip side, therefore different time zone. im not too sure what kind of rocks they are, how ever, if my memory serves me correctly, these plecs live in rapid flowing water with rocks + the rocks they are in now has caves in them to hide in and what i thought might induce spawning. but I will read up on them again and i can definitly put in some drift wood. thanks again for the comments.

will post new pictures with drift wood.

do you guys think i should add some live plants?

Great lil pleco. They look like they are still not quite at breeeding size yet. Slow growing and the best looking of th elil plecos. Congrats on your group, im sure they will breed when ready. Throw in some pleco caves and see if they pair off at all.

haha personally i liked the holy rock and so did the fish i bet. I think u want pleco caves with entrances that arent so large. But that being said the plecos may not mind and only time will tell. Good luck.

IMO I would keep the gravel. It really stood out to me when I first saw the pics. You don't see a tank that bright to often so it's different, if you like it then keep it. Good move on the driftwood though.
It nice to see you make a tank just for the zebra plecs, a nice corner unit!
Great tank.:)
