Pictures of P.Endlicheri Congicus above 30"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah I couldn't find the 40" pic, but I thought that might be an enjoyable thread for the congicus trend

Yeah definetly! Also this Giant ansorgi looks pretty nice, i guess a congicus at this size would have feature a little bit broade skull, but be less thick?

Still there has to be the one monster bichir somewhere!

Think biggest I seen was 3'. Don't think they're comparable to snakeheads and wolves...

Here's a wild specimen caught near lake Tanganyika. The hand size is about 4-5 inches, therefore, it's suggested to be close or over 30" specimen. If imported, they certainly all get sold to Asian Countries.

There are home aquaria photos of some congicus in Japan over 30" mark. Just haven't looked for them yet, lol

For all who is seeking motivation for their growout, or planning. Here's fellow mfk member C CDM . It was 25" in 2010. Got it at 7" in 2003. The possibilities... Wonder if it's still thriving.

I remember now. His tank crashed in 2012. Majority of his fish died including his red aro and monster bichirs. I believe only 2-4 of them survived.
Most recent photo of his collection in 2014
