This type comes from the Niger river system. They came June 2008 with 4to5”.

Just booked my honeymoon in Costa Rica. I'm gonna go MONSTER tarpon fishing while I'm there! I hear they've been pulling up 3 and 4 footers daily this year!

you can go monster tarpon fishing near you out of grand isle La.

I could...but Costa Rica is fishing heaven. I've heard good things about Grand Isle, but havent been yet. I'm looking at Costa Rica fishing outfitters right now. Me & the Fiance are gonna do a day of Tarpon inshore & a day of big water offshore (they tell me 9,000ft of water 5 miles offshore!!!!!!!!). I go regularly around the East Texas/western Louisiana area, so I have plenty of chances to hit Grand Isle later. Tired of smelling that water for now...
