I currently have one 4"-5" pictus and was looking to add 4 more, but they are babies about 1.5"-2.5".
Will the larger one try to eat them?

BTW my tank is a 120 gallon with 3 small clown loaches, 1 synodontis 5-6", a 5" pink tail chalceus and the one pictus already in there.

That's what I'm afraid of. It's a close call so I think in just going to wait and find some slightly bigger ones.
Sounds like a good idea.

If you're ok with ordering online then I'm sure someone on here has some larger pictus catfish that they'd be willing to sell.

Quarantining and growing out simultaneously, that's what I tend to do. It's a good excuse to have another tank set up as well;)
