Pictus catfish with bichirs?

I would not recommend picture for a 4’ tank as in my experience they’re simply too active for such a short tank, 6’ is the minimum length I’d put them in.

I am assuming you mean the pim and went with these as a larger alternative to Pictus? In which case I am also assuming you have at least a 6x2 for them in the near future as the blochi grow significantly larger than Pictus (9-11”)

Yes, 4 line pimelodus Ive heard they get to 12-14”, so far they don’t seem nearly as active as a pictus, but they’re in a 55 for now at about 3-4”, but I’m getting a much bigger tank for them this November, hoping to take advantage of some Black Friday deals
