pictus catfish

spoted pictus hit almost 5" standard length.... about 6.5" including the tail fin. i would reccomend getting about 2-3 more to keep yours company.
 
I agree. I've had mine for lil' over a year now, and are about 4 1/2 inches. As for the company, the two I have now are constantly fighting. Always hear them buzzing in the other room. Years ago tho I had a trio who kept together (until a polypterus came along and snacked on them). Never know...and my pair right now are in a bare (bare floor, no ornaments) 265g.
 
there's different pictus. As the above poster said, if it's the standard spotted ones, like I have...they stay fairly small
 
I would agree with the above,i think when we had 3 they would argue but when we got 5 they seemed to calm down,great cats.

I got one thats not spotted but more or less stripped. Just picked them up at the lfs. Are those the ones that get bigger than 4 or 5 inches?
 
I'VE GOT ONE THATS ABOUT 6 INCHES LONG KNOW AND IV'E HAD IT SINCE NOVEMBER WAS TO INCHES WHEN I GOT IT I WOULD SAY ANYWHERE IN THE 8-10 TEN INCH RANGE IS TOPS FOR THESE GUYS DEPENDING UPON WHAT SIZE YOUR TANK IS
