Anyone have any experience with Pictus catfish? i'd like to keep one with my ray pups to clean up anything the rays dont pick up...

It should work as long as both are fed well. Super active and does best in a group. I used to have a group of 9 and it was a blast watching them swim non stop. Aggressive feeders. Don't get to big maxes out at 6".
Pimelodus pictus? Would not your ray pups prey on them? Yes, they do best in a large group of a dozen or so. If you get one, it would likely sit under furniture or in the corner afraid to poke its nose out until dark. Will come out for food but will be very nervous in lighted conditions.
