I am down to just three now and in a 100g that has just been remodelled they squabble to work out territory then seem to just squabble periodically with a bit of all swimming together thrown in. Pretty typical of pimelodus cats in general imo as that's exactly how my five larger p.maculatus live in the pond.
Not safe with anything they can fit in their mouth and remember that anything with them may get stressed at night with them whiskers constantly searching through the darkness, even midwater.
