Pictus cats, questions before I buy.

I guess its possible in the right conditions and ofcourse, in the wild. In aqauriums ive never seen them get bigger than 5", maybe just over that but it wouldnt surprise me if they could get to 7 or even 8", Pictus cats are always hungry and will eat just about anything.

I have personally owned a 6.5-7 inch pictus, however, it was over 2 years old, and the only time i have seen a larger 1 than 5 inches, possible, but highly unlikely

I think it is probably more dependent on genetics than conditions. The largest pictus I've personally kept went from around 3" to almost 7" in about a year while being kept in a severely overstocked 55 gallon (I didn't exactly have the most responsible fishkeeping habits back then).
