Pictus cats, questions before I buy.

I have personally owned a 6.5-7 inch pictus, however, it was over 2 years old, and the only time i have seen a larger 1 than 5 inches, possible, but highly unlikely

I think it is probably more dependent on genetics than conditions. The largest pictus I've personally kept went from around 3" to almost 7" in about a year while being kept in a severely overstocked 55 gallon (I didn't exactly have the most responsible fishkeeping habits back then).
