I had one in with jags for months and they didn't mess with each other, and then one day the jags switched from hanging out on mainly on the left, to the right and would not leave the pictus alone. Since the pictus stayed mainly on the right side, it wasn't a problem untill then, but I had to take him out and throw him into a spare 55 as a result. As for feeding, it gorges itself on whatever it can find, and will come up to midlevel even when the food goes in.
