cool fourlines wondering if anybody has seen them eat smaller fish

Any fish will eat another fish if it can fit in their mouth! The four lines in our display eat rosy reds whenever we throw some in there.

ok i was wondering if thay just disappear over night or if thay eat them as soon as thay see them and how big do thay have to be to start eating other fish.

Yeah im looking for a smallish predatory catfish so am also interested to know. Does anyone have any experience with ornate pictus? Can any other Australians help me think of a predatory catfish that will grow 10-16" max and that we can get here. Do any of our local eel tails or other catfish turn more to fish eating as they get bigger? The small eel tails i have seen havent been interested at all in small fish.

The ornatus seem to be pretty chill, voracious eaters and very active.
They are also very attractive.
