Amphilophus xiloaensis is a completely separate species from Midas/Red Devil and they are not interbred with other species to get the color. Xiloaensis from Rapps are descended from wild caught individuals, and their coloration is identical to what is found in the wild. They're usually completely white or white with mild to moderate amounts of orange or all orange, and some of the ones I've seen have a vertical dark bar in their eyes (sort of like Archocentrus centrarchus). Others have bluish eyes. Their full-grown size is a little smaller than Midas/RD, topping out around 10-11", and they do not grow nuchal humps the size that Midas/RD do.
