Pied black arowana?

As far as I'm aware, these black aros were all imported as regular black arowanas (ordered maybe 200-300 pieces? Not sure) After a few weeks, a few of them started to morph (one of them fully peeled). Here is a screenshot from a video from the owner of Vanstar. The ones from lone star and aquatic import Hawaii also came from Vanstar.

I’m not aware of any captive bred black arowana. Are you?

May be wrong but I thought most black arrowana were captive bred nowadays
