I dont know why everybody rates BAS higher than pier i dont.....

Ive been to both pier and bas around 5 times now, and pier have had great stock every time, BAS has only had fish worth buying the once, some of the staff at BAS come across as a bit arrogant too, there is a nice guy there dont like the others.

They're both good but it depends what you like, last time i went to pier the fish i like were, ornate poly's, albino sens, silver aro's, royal knives, oxydoras niger, Big bgk, big fire eels which is still more than most LFS But in BAS i would buy, p.teugelsi, lapradei, ornatapinnis, fire eel, python eel, humpback puffers, silver aro, asian aro, royal knives, clown knives, chitala chitala, small florida gars.

I like pier because the staff are friendly and they have a really good range of fish, including oddballs.

Pier seems to be much cheaper in my eyes too

The first time i went to pier i wasn't to impressed so i guess its first impressions, i've been afterwards and stock has been alot better but on the first occasion i just wasn't to impressed
