i am sure they would breed. however finding a pair can be a pain. i have a few big males, but can not find a female.

somebody should start a breeding program for these fast to make them available

Some people are working on it. It's not a fast process though, as most of the females that have bred in captivity have been well over 20 years old.

Females can be hard to find, but not impossible...
