Pike cichlid I.D. please

Sveni was my first thought...but it does have different markings...plus its missing the horizontal markings....anthurus does seem to be right on the ball though...beat me too it...:P

Yeah, we'll give it a few monthes. He's already greedily accepting freeze dried bloodworms, frozen blood worms, and feeders. I'm leaning towards sveni cause of the "eye spot" in the rear. but he's still a baby so ya never know.
 
No, not Crenicichla sveni. I'd say its a Crenicichla alta or a Crenicichla menezesi. That pike has strange features; the mouth is not that of a saxatilis pike, while the markings indicate that its a saxatilis pike. I'm quite sure its a saxatilis pike, however.
