Pike Cichlid

If you have a lot of fish in the tank a pike stops bothering them. I have about 10 Ashricans in a tank with a pretty bad pike but it does not kill anything.

So my point is: If you cant set up another tank, maybe you can add more fish.

in that tank i have 1 polypterus of around 15", a 14" pleco, 2 plecos of around 20 cm, a pair of red kadango's, 2 fire eels, 5 black tetras and a bunch of young p. acei cichlids. these are around 2-5 cm now. the tetra's and young cichlids will probably all die if i put a pike in there but will the rest be enough to keep his mind off killing?

He will likely eat half the fish. Nobody can tell what he will do with the rest.
I'd put him in a bucket.

Five minutes ago I added a tilapia to the Semifasciata tank. Before the pike was hunting the carp and the pleco. Now the carp beats up the tilapia and the pike stays in some pot. It will all change of course.

I added the tilapia to save the carp and the pleco.
