Pike Cichlids and Bichirs?

Thinking of getting a Pike Cichlid as a tank mate for my 4-5" Senegal Bichir and my 9" Ropefish. I've had the two of them in a 40 gallon breeder and now I'm going to move them into a 120 gallon. The Pike Cichlid would probably go in at 3-4".

Anyway, has anyone ever kept Pike Cichlids with Bichirs? I would imagine that they'd get along but I'd like to be safe than sorry.

i've had a couple pikes with bichirs, they just joined in on the bichir pile.

Make sure the sizes aren't too different though, and that you get a pikes species that isn't going to out grow them. One gets too much larger than the other and there could be a disappearing fish. LoL

I have 2 foot long pikes with a 17" endli bichir. They ignore each other completely.

I've got a 5" C. proteus and an 8" johanna with two 11" bichirs. No problems.
