Keep in mind lents tend to be a bit more on the territorial side and are often the boss of the tank even if not the smallest fish. My lent is the boss of my 230. She backs down for nobody. My friend's lent is identical in behavior in his 230, and it even pushes around his 22" RT/TSN hybrid catfish. This is not to say they are terrors... they dont go out of their way to kill stuff.

Johannas can be pushy sometimes too though, and some specimens are wusses. I guess this goes for any fish.

Either way, great choices!

Cheers,

Chris

Hey guys! So I think I will go with the lenticulata. I like the way they look and everything I've read about them sounds encouraging. What other fish if any would make good tank mates for these guys. I really don't have much experience with the cichlids as I usually keep puffers. My only cichlid was a blue acara. I have a 120g with the potential to upgrade in a year or so but I'd rather stock with that as the permanent tank size. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know multiple lents would help with the aggression but I really think that many lents will be crowded in my tank. The only thing living in the tank right now is my school of 2-3 inch clown loaches (yes all five of them are in heaven). I suppose I will have to move them or the new lent will eat them when I get him/her.
