Cr. acutirostris

Cr. sp. "Xingu I", male

Most likely Cr. sp. "Venezuela". There is a possibility they are a race of lugubris, possibly lugubris "Atabapo". They are definitley NOT lenticulata! At $49 a pop it's a bit risky to get them "just to see what you end up with". If Geroge knew where they were colected it would help narrow it down. With that said, all three pics look like slightly different fish. Not sure if it is due to age (middle pic looks like older fish) or the fact they are different species.

I'll let someone else sort through the remaining pics. Saxatilines are not my strong suite.

ok the title is a bit of a tease... but camera is packed and im on my way to get some photos of all the pikes they have. granted they let me. wish me luck and mega id thread to follow.

I saw you lurking around taking pictures. I was going to run down on you and say nah man you can't take pictures (to see your reaction but I wasn't in the mood. I like to **** with people in there. You should see them) (Huh?! But I always do).
Nobody in there cares in you take pictures. You should have let the guy working in the back know I'm sure he would have cleared the tank so you can get better pics

Great job Mark....lol. I was lacking the ambition to even try to tackle the Lugubris pikes. Any one is more than welcome to try all the Saxatilis! Crazy! LoL!!

BTW...some of those pikes in the second picture of the sp. 'venezuelas' reminds me an aweful lot of sp. 'xingu II'. . . . .

Didn't think they were lents and knew the supposedly Lacustris looked kinda odd also.
I could not even start on the Saxatilis!
