I've never really looked at getting a pike cichlid before untill now so I was wondering where I could get some info on them and if there is a pike that will fit in my 29gal. tank.

oh wellIf you get dwarf pikes c.regani (aka peaceful pike), c.[FONT=arial, helvetica][SIZE=+1]notophthalmus. With enough driftwood and pipes you can pull it off. One trick I learned from Jim at mainlycichlids.com is to get some black PVC used for sewer drains. If you cut a couple of 4-12 inch pieces (rinse them really well) they will float. This gives picked on fish a cave high in the water collum and gives them shelter. It works really well. Ok thanks.......would a pike work with a Gold Saum or should I try to stick with the 29gal. tanks?
