Pilots names was reported on live broadcast

Everytime I reread the names in the order I bust up laughing. the question is who first put out these names. The NTSB or someone at the new station. Someone had to type it into the teleprompter. It probably was ment to be just a joke but got put out there as information.

same here. I think it would not have had as much impact if the news reporter had NOT read them in the right order.

still, its amazing that this got past EVERYONE on its way to the air.

people can be so clueless sometimes..

When I saw this the first name got by me but the second cought my attention and I replayed it. I thought this can't be real, are you freaking kidding me. I thought of Ted Baxter from the Mary Tyler Moore show if anyone remembers him. They used it in Anchorman too. After a while I guess they trust what's put in front of them and just read it off the teleprompter, by the time they realize somthings wrong it's too late. It was funny.

I can't believe nobody caught that and it made it to the air, even with a disclaimer that it was confirmed by the NTSB!!
