Per PCF thread, Jools (the PCF owner) and Silurus (Dr. Heok Hee Ng) think you nailed it. Very impressive, Wed! If I faced this task from scratch, I don't think I'd get that at all - so little is known about this cat and the photos show such different coloration. Tell your guy to bring the fish(es) over. Looks like people like it. Smitty and I for two.

That's right and I believe you. I've found only four relatively reliable pics of this obscure catfish - the three on PCF - http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=1865 - and one on ScotCat by Steve Grant (aka The.Dark.One on PCF) - on this page http://www.scotcat.com/thedarkone/pimelodidae/tdo_pimelodidae.htm. Of the four pics, only the third pic on PCF looked close to your fish.

I am dead serious. You have just advanced another step up above my head in my book. I am seeing only tail lights. Great job!

Thanks for the info Viktor but too late! hahaha Raymond shipped this cat out to me already and I picked it up from Newark yesterday. Great packing job Ray! All fish arrived alive.
