This tank is quite the opposite of anything that has to do with proper fishkeeping, and the tank of theop isnt quite better.
No animal should be kept like this no matter how often the water is changed or how oversized the filtration is, it's just way to small, simple as that.
And not only for the pima!
(if you are not completely retarded this is sarcasm) but what I'm trying to comunicate is the unlikeliness of you or anyone else making him "see the light" and think "damn, I just uploaded pics of me torturing my fish, I must upgrade, stop beating my wife and eat more veggies.. ..in that order",, his tank, his call to make.
