That picture of the fish knocked out on tricane scares me every time i see it. it just looks dead and that is a horrible sight for such an awesome fish...

me toooo but if I enlarge his tank from 5000 to 13000 gallons i will have to do it again !!!!

i think it genes and food........always been told you cant sex 'um until they spawn......

never seen much more red.....seems that the red area is increasing percentage wise with time ( growth ?)

also note that when knocked out ( tricane-s) and moved he still retained alot of red despite the stress level
