add stress coat

pimafix melafix are good too...follow the label for first dose.............you can add more per the label but its not required....judge by the aro's condition

I agree with John use the stress coat. Water changes also help the healing process.

iagree, water changes and very low stress conditions will help it heal good. Stress coat will help reduce some stress as well as aid in replacing some slime coat to protect the area were scales are missing.

I prefer Melafix for this.

Id exercise caution mixing medications. A couple years back I had a sick tank from not quarantining some new fish. I used melafix and pimafix together and still lost most of my fish. Im convinced that the combination of the two drugs at the recommended dosage was toxic to my fish. They lost scales and and looked like they had burns. They had trouble breathing as well. I discontinued use and did lots of water changes and the larger fish eventually recoverred.

Thay are totally safe to use together in the recomended doses.
